1915-S Panama-Pacific Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. Lovely toning on both sides. Only 15,000 sold and the balance melted from the original issue of 25,000 pieces. This one is tied with the finest of those seen by PCGS, at the Superb Gem grade level, precious few can offer the quality of surfaces or booming luster of the present coin. The obverse depicts a man wearing a cap and facing left, representing one of the countless Panama Canal workers that helped create this mammoth project. The reverese has two dolphins, symbolizing the two joined oceans through the canal. A classic condition rarity! Pop 66; none finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 7449) .
